Home Learning - A How to Giude for Mountain Biking

At the moment we can't go to School due to the Coronavirus out - break in New Zealand, so this means we have to do Online Work like many other Schools in the Country.

Since Monday our Teacher has set up many activites on our Class Site, so I have been Working on many of the Activites she has put Online for us.

One of the Activites was to Write a 'How to Guide' on our Favourite Hobby.

One of my Favourite Hobby's is Mountain Biking, so I choose my Topic to be on Mountain Biking.
Below is my How to Guide on Mountain Biking;


Mountain Biking


To be a skilled Mountain Bike Rider you will need:
  • A well Maintained Mountain Bike
  • Bike Helmet
  • Padded Cycling Gloves
  • Elbow, Knee and Shin Pads (optional)
  • Eye Protection
  • Drink Bottle
  •  Energy Food


Mountain Biking takes a lot of practising.
When Mountain Biking you need to be careful of a lot of things Including: pedestrians, other riders, traffic, trees, rocks, steep banks and many other Hazards.


Mountain Biking in New Zealand is very popular now, because of the fact that you can; keep Fit, and that it is Environmentally - Friendly, it is also a Great way to see the Scenic side of New Zealand.


New Zealand has exceptional bike parks Including: Waitangi Mountain Bike Park, Totara Park Mountain Bike Track and many more through - out New Zealand!
