My Matariki Poem

Recently we have been creating Matariki poems for the Maori New year.

Here is my Poem:

My Recipe - For a Great Afternoon in Summer!

Here is my recipe for a great afternoon in Summer;

Settle yourself in your favourite spot in a pool.
Sprinkle in some Friends and Family.
Mix in some nice and cool Ice - Creams and Slushies.
Whisk in some Fish & Chips from the famous Mangonui Fish & Chip shop.
Scrape in some Beautiful nail painting.

My Recipe - For a Bad Hair Day!

Here is my recipe for a bad hair day;

Chuck on some gooey, green slime.
Whisk on approximitly 10 cups of yummy caramel.
Sprinkle 1/2 a cup of sea salt.
Throw on a few woody pencils.
Apply some mouldy chicken soup on as well.
WARNING: This is an ideal hair style to wear to school!
